Task-K I is a platform designed to facilitate resource sharing among working parents, aiming to alleviate the daily stresses associated with parenting responsibilities. With a single click, parents can request trusted peers to pick up their children from daycare, preschools, or after-school programs promptly and without guilt. This service offers a practical solution to avoid costly late pickup fees and even enables parents to arrange for personal time, such as date nights. The app supports exchanges of services among trusted community members using a system called ‘’village points,’’ fostering cooperation within established childcare networks.

The service is available throughout the United States in communities where childcare providers have partnered with Task-K I. We recommend contacting your childcare provider to verify their participation. If they are not yet partners, visit www.task-ki.com to encourage them to join the program.

Once your childcare provider becomes a Task-K I partner, the following steps outline how to utilize the service:

• Connect with other parents in your community via the app.
• Authorize trusted peers to pick up your child in advance.
• Use the request feature when you anticipate arriving late for pickup.
• Track the progress of the pickup once your request is accepted.
• Upon arrival, your childcare provider will verify the identity of the parent helper and complete check-in and check-out procedures.
• You can monitor the location of your child and parent helper throughout the process.
• Confirm when the service has been completed, prompting an automatic transfer of village points within the app.
• Redeem accumulated points for allowable services provided by other parents, such as a night out, prepared meals, or tutoring.
